Job positing: Manufacturing Manager

Job description

Directing team of molding associates in areas of production, scheduling, safety, maintenance and quality while maintaining high level of accuracy; managing several lines/IMM, which integrate different technologies (pneumatic, electrical, automation, mechanical and hydraulic); reporting concerns to CEO and following up as requested; troubleshooting and adjusting molding parameters to maintain quality and maximum product output; developing corrective actions for customer issues/initiating continuous improvement; leading a team of people in execution of daily production tasks, scheduling, training, maintenance, and continuous improvement; coordinating tooling and equipment availability, repair, and maintenance; maintaining safe work environment; managing all maintenance functions, such as: preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on all manufacturing equipment; managing all aspects of production, including: product quality, production schedule, team performance, and safety; guiding multiple shifts of production teams; and interfacing with engineering, planning, procurement and other production plants.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Plastics Transformation Technology, or Industrial Engineering, or foreign degree equivalent.

3 years of work experience as Product Engineer or Project Engineer. 3 years work experience must include work with silicone injection (seal and gaskets) and plastic injection (technical resins with filler, tool design and tuning, process optimization); and automation of manufacturing equipment automation
