On October 4, Governor Snyder hosted a reception honoring the Consular Corps of Michigan at the Governor’s Mansion in Lansing.
After an introductory note by Governor Snyder on the current thriving international economic development and excellent outlook on Michigan’s future , the dean of the Corps, Canadian Consul General Douglas George, offered official remarks.
The Honorable Guillaume Lacroix , Consul General of France in Chicago and Jean Mallebay-Vacqueur, France Honorary Consul for Michigan were among the esteemed guests attending the beautiful reception. FACCMI was also in attendance and was honored by the invitation.
