The French-American Chamber of Commerce, Michigan Chapter is pleased to announce the 2015 FACC Scholarship Recipients:
Eastern Michigan University
Mr. Osentoski is a junior at Eastern Michigan University where he is a pursuing a double major in International Business and Finance as well as a minor in French. Mr. Osentoski is currently completing a summer study abroad program at ICN Business School in Nancy, France, from June to July 2015. The scholarship award is based on his outstanding scholastic achievements, extracurricular activities, and interest to learn more about the French language, culture, and business environment.
Ms. Britton is a sophomore at Albion College where she is pursuing a French major and is double minoring in Business and Organizations as well as Accounting. Ms. Britton will be completing a semester study abroad program in Grenoble, France where she will attend l’Université Stendhal-Grenoble from August to December 2015. The scholarship award is based on her professional and linguistic objectives to participate in this study abroad program, solid academic achievement, and good progress in French in addition to demonstrated need.
The purpose of the FACC, Michigan Chapter Scholarship Program is to financially assist college and university students in Michigan who study business or business related courses and French language studies and who plan to combine French and business in their future career plans. This program aims at facilitating the travel and stay of Michigan students in France who otherwise may not have the financial ability to do so. It demonstrates our commitment to our broad goal of improving French-American trade as well as to contributing to our community by helping Michigan students further their French studies and business experience.
The FACC, Michigan Chapter is proud to support Mr. Osentoski and Ms. Britton in their French language and business study pursuits. We wish them the best in France and hope that this experience will greatly contribute to the realization of their personal and professional goals.
