Junior IT Manager

French Company with global presence located in the Livonia area is hiring a full time  C# Web Developer to join the team with their new and ongoing projects.

Good record in the development complex, maintainable enterprise systems using Microsoft Technologies.   Experience working on projects involving their full development life-cycle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analysis of business requirements to produce design specifications, document assumptions and cost   estimates as required
  • Assist in various cycles of the requirements verification process
  • Design and document software and hardware architecture
  • Implement software solutions (coding, configuration, database design, defect fixing, etc.)
  • Maintenance activities, continuous enhancements and on-going issue resolution
  • Assist in coordination and project planning
  • Become subject matter expert and go-to person on specific functionalities of the system
  • Transfer knowledge to other IT team members (share your SME knowledge with others)
  • Participate in design and program code walk through as required
  • Support to French speaking customers, including Quebec, of diagnostic tool division

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related
  • 3+ years programming skills in .NET and C#
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Experience in working with database-driven websites, developing with HTML, CSS, AJAX, XML, Web Services,
  • JavaScript, MVC, JQuery, AngularJS and other JS frameworks.
  • Experience with Entity Framework
  • Experience in designing, documenting, and developing WebAPI applications
  • Experience with TDD and automated unit testing
  • Experience with application development using design patterns
  • Experience with NuGet, Log4Net, Redis, Swagger, MSMQ
  • Experience in creating secure web applications and APIs
  • Knowledge of user interface design, data modeling
  • Knowledge of performance, and memory issues
  • Strong team player with strong analytical skill and the ability to work independently

LANGUAGES SKILLS:

Ability to fluently read , write and speak English and French (including Quebecois)
