The Michigan Chapter of the FACC is seeking an Executive Director, reporting directly to the President.
POSITION: The position is a part-time contractor position affording significant flexibility with hours and overall schedule.
KEY OBJECTIVES and RESPONSIBILITIES: The FACC Executive Director will have responsibility for:
·1 Membership Development and Member Relations.
·2 Program (events) development and implementation.
·3 Communicating with the membership including the newsletter and website.
·4 Supporting and coordinating board and committee meetings and activities.
·5 Assisting with member inquiries and with J-1 visa applications.
QUALIFICATIONS :The Executive Director plays a critical role at the center of the FACC's activities. The selected candidate will possess business knowledge and experience and with energy and initiative to take actions to meet the organization's goals. Candidates will ideally possess the following:·1 3+ years experience in American business ·2 Own computer and have skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Constant Contact and the ability to learn website program·3 Fluent French language skill·4 Basic knowledge of event management·5 Experience in business protocol·6 Detail and process oriented·7 Ability to drive to events and meetings in the Detroit area.
COMPENSATION: To be established with succesful candidate based upon a monthly stipend. As a contractor, no benefits are provided.
