On September 22, the FACC alongside Business France, Automation Alley and Accenture hosted a special delegation of international start-ups and dignitaries to discuss the future of manufacturing.
The round table took place at Automation Alley and it was part of a program to promote French technology and innovation in digital factories. Eight French companies, focusing on predictive maintenance, smart sensors, supervision and cyber-physical systems, participated along with the French Consul General of France, The Honorable Guillaume Lacroix.
After a presentation by Automation Alley and Accenture, a representative of each company introduced their innovative services and products. The presentations were followed by a panel discussion exploring the latest technologies, services, risks and opportunities associated with the expansion of “smart factories.”
These companies are at the forefront of the digital enterprise deployment whether it’s related to connected manufacturing or robots. A discussion forum organized by the FACC provided an excellent opportunity to further discuss the technologies.
