Over 45 members of the French-American business community joined FACC-Michigan on March 22, 2017 for a roundtable discussion on French creativity and entrepreneurship in Michigan with three French business creators and Mr. Frédéric Lefebvre, French Member of Parliament & Representative of French Nationals in USA, Canada.
Panelists Olivier Lecanu of real estate and art companies Lecanart and Global Head Quarters, Arnaud Mangin of automotive industry software company eValidate, and Chloé Sabatier of traditional French lava cakes company Chez Chloé shared their stories of why they came to Detroit, how they launched their own business, and their challenges and successes as entrepreneurs.
Mr. Frédéric Lefebvre then shared his experience traveling across the United States and Canada to meet with French nationals and entrepreneurs, sharing with us insights into their challenges and successes living abroad and building business.
Everyone enjoyed an interactive Q&A session followed by one-on-one conversations and networking well past 10 pm at the Birmingham Athletic Club.
