Over 130 members of the European business community gathered for the Annual European Chambers' Summer Networking and Wine Tasting held this year at Meadow Brook Hall on July 28, 2016, in Rochester Hills, MI.
This event is hosted annually by the French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACC), Michigan Chapter with co-partners British-American Business Council (BABC), German-American Chamber of Commerce (GACC), Italian-American Alliance for Business and Technology (IAABT), Italian-American Chamber of Commerce of Michigan (IACCM), and the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce (SACC).
Guests mingled and enjoyed tasting a wide selection of 17 French and 5 Italian wines, courtesy wine sponsor Woodberry Wine. Some went home with rare and unique French wine packages won from the Silent Auction* hosted throughout the evening.
While networking on the paved terrace and elegant lawn of Meadow Brook Hall, guests had the exclusive opportunity to see the one-of-a-kind 1938 Paris Show Delahaye Coupe, by Figoni & Falasch.
Attendees were also invited to walk through the historic and opulent 88,000 square foot mansion built by one of the automotive aristocracy's most remarkable women, Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of automobile pioneer John Dodge, and her second husband, lumber broker Alfred Wilson.
FACC-Michigan would like to extend a sincere thank you to co-partners BABC, GACC, IAABT, IACC, SACC, wine sponsor Woodberry Wine, and venue Meadow Brook Hall for helping make this another successful evening enjoyed by all.
*Funds generated from the Silent Auction go to support the mission of the FACC to serve and promote the business interests between French and American companies.
